Welcome to the Untamed Petals blog!

My name is Amanda and I'm the creator of Untamed Petals. I started Untamed Petals as a creative outlet when work (at Spike TV) was getting to be a little to hectic (and masculine I might add) but what was once a hobby for me has now become a true passion. Through friend's encouragement and the help of my amazing boyfriend Nick I hope to be on my way to creating a successful company that will one day be my full time job (if you would even call it that).

I love all things vintage and most of all anything that sparkles. I am obsessed with the natural beauty of flowers and have them around as much as possible. You will soon see that flowers inspire my designs most of all and with the help beautiful fabrics that I find all over New York City (where I currently dwell) I create whimsical and romantic hair accessories that are sure to make a statement on your wedding day or ANY day for that matter. I'm a California girl (only been in NYC for about 4 yrs) and a hippie at heart (which is probably where my halo obsession comes from). Follow along with me as I share fashion that inspires me, new Untamed creations and things I find around my favorite blogs.
